Nathan L. Lam
Nathan Lloyd Lam (b. 1991) holds a PhD in music theory from Indiana University, and he is Lecturer in Music at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research on scales, symmetry, and multiculturalism appear in international conferences and leading music theory journals. His music is inseparable with his research in music theory. In his compositions, abstract theoretical ideas come to life in an accessible language that combines classical counterpoint and comtemporary styles.
