Peter Stanley Martin (ed.)
Peter Stanley Martin is active in the music industry in a variety of ways: as a composer/arranger, conductor, editor, publisher, and clinician. He is currently overseeing catalog development at Subito Music Corporation and is Managing Director of the Charles Ives Society. Mr. Martin served as Director of Production for G. Schirmer, Inc./Associated Music Publishers and Group Head of Editorial at Wise Music Classical for 20 years where he collaborated daily with contemporary music masters. His editions and arrangements have been heard around the globe at concert halls, festivals, and schools.
At the 2022 MOLA Conference in Philadelphia, Mr. Martin was a keynote speaker alongside Yannick Nezet-Seguin and Nicole Jordan of the Philadelphia Orchestra on the music of Florence Price.
As a conductor, Mr. Martin has received acclaim for his work with symphony orchestras, wind bands, and new music ensembles. He has presented masterclasses and been invited to guest conduct numerous institutions across the country including Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI), Yale School of Music, Columbia University, UCLA, New York University, as well as in Japan.
